STEELO DIGITAL · TERMS
Terms of Service
Terms version: 2026-09-28
These terms apply to use of the Steelo Digital website and to engagements with Steelo Designs LLC, the legal entity operating under the Steelo Digital trade name. A proposal, statement of work, invoice, or other written agreement controls the specific scope, deliverables, timing, and fees for an engagement.
Scope and engagement
These terms govern website use, inquiries, diagnostics, and the general operating boundaries of Steelo work. No request, form submission, or conversation creates a paid engagement. A paid engagement begins only when the applicable written agreement is accepted and any required payment is successfully recorded.
The Founding Website is the only product sold through this site's online checkout, and only while the founding offer is open. The public website does not collect payment on any request form. Payment is collected only on the Founding Website checkout. Any checkout on this site states the applicable price, scope, hosting, renewal, domain, and cancellation terms before payment. Other public copy is not a promise of availability, a price, a scheduled week, or a reservation.
Requests and diagnostics
Steelo reviews requests for fit, scope, timing, dependencies, and the right route. A diagnostic or Snapshot is a separate pre-purchase service or review path when it is expressly confirmed in writing. A Snapshot is not included in Founding Website or Launch Page delivery, does not automatically expand a build scope, and follows its own review and capacity model.
A Founding Website slot is secured when its checkout payment succeeds while one of the 30 founding slots is still open. If a payment completes after the last slot is taken, Steelo contacts you before any work starts and refunds the payment in full if the build will not go ahead. Founding Website purchases do not require fit approval, a signed agreement, or a scheduled week before payment; the intake and your content follow payment. A request, a form submission, or a failed payment attempt alone reserves nothing. For legacy Launch Page purchases only, a place was reserved when approved fit, signed terms, and successful payment against a live inventory record were recorded together, and no Launch Page buyer paid without a specific scheduled week.
Founding Website
These are the terms for the Founding Website, the product sold through this site's checkout; the Launch Page sections below do not apply to it. The Founding Website is a fixed-scope product: one page, a template-based build finished in your brand colors, and one revision round, for a one-time payment of $100. You pay first at checkout, then complete the intake and send your content. The build is delivered within 5 business days from the date complete, usable content is received. The delivery clock starts when content is complete, not when payment is made. The founding rate covers 30 slots.
Complete, usable content — copy, images, logo, and required business details — is due within 5 business days after payment. Missing or unusable intake does not start the delivery clock. If required input is not received within 7 days, the project is paused and rescheduled to the next available build date. After 30 days, the project may be closed with delivered work and project state documented. If a Founding Website project is closed before a site is delivered, Steelo cancels its hosting subscription and refunds any hosting payments already made, so no hosting is charged for a site that was never delivered. The $100 build payment follows the Cancellation and refunds section below.
Hosting for a Founding Website is a subscription of $20 per month or $200 per year, billed through Stripe. The subscription covers hosting, the domain, SSL, and keeping the site online — nothing else. It does not include edits, content changes, maintenance, SEO, analytics, reporting, or support. Content changes after delivery are quoted separately, per request.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time through the Stripe customer billing portal. If the subscription is cancelled, or a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, the site remains online through the paid period and a short grace period, after which it is taken offline.
Steelo registers and holds the domain for a Founding Website so hosting, SSL, and renewals stay handled in one place. The domain is held to its current registration expiry and is transferred to the client on request.
Legacy Launch Page scope
The Launch Page is no longer sold. This section and the two Launch Page sections that follow apply only to Launch Page purchases made before it was retired; they do not apply to the Founding Website. The Launch Page is a fixed-scope product. The included boundary is 1 page, 1 approved style direction, intake-based copy placement, a mobile-ready build, a contact form, 1 correction pass, 30 days of hosting, and a Steelo-hosted preview.
A correction pass covers typos, incorrect contact information, broken links, and minor layout fixes. It does not cover redesigns, preference changes, new sections, new copy, new images, added features, strategy changes, or behavior outside the approved scope.
The Launch Page excludes extra sections, copy written from scratch, multi-page builds, custom software, portals, login, dashboards, booking systems, e-commerce, logo design, full brand identity, ongoing edits, ongoing support, and redesigns.
Launch Page capacity, content, and delivery
For legacy Launch Page purchases, Steelo runs no more than 2 Launch Page builds in active production at one time and delivers no more than 2 Launch Pages per week. A specific ship week was assigned and disclosed before payment. These operating limits do not promise that every request will be accepted.
Complete, usable content — copy, images, logo, and required business details — is due within 5 business days after payment. Missing or unusable intake does not start the delivery clock. If required input is not received within 7 days, the project is paused and rescheduled to the next available production slot. After 30 days, the project may be closed with delivered work and project state documented.
The Launch Page founding rate covers 30 paid reservations, released in controlled cohorts or ending through a formal founding decision, whichever comes first. The public site does not display remaining capacity.
Launch Page hosting, domain, and form obligations
Each legacy Launch Page includes 30 days of hosting. After that period, hosting may continue at $25 per month or $250 per year for Host-Only unless cancelled before the renewal date. Host-Only includes hosting, SSL, and keeping the page online. It excludes edits, support, SEO, analytics, reporting, maintenance, new sections, content changes, and domain renewal.
For a Launch Page, Domain Setup Help is a $25 one-time service. The client owns and pays for the domain; Steelo assists with DNS and connection only. The included Launch Page contact form covers up to 250 submissions per month. A higher volume requires a client-paid upgrade.
Ownership, licensing, and public proof
Website content, imagery, code, and brand assets owned by Steelo may not be reproduced without written permission. On full payment of fees due under the written agreement, ownership or license rights for final deliverables transfer as that agreement states. Pre-final files, working assets, internal methods, and reusable Steelo frameworks remain Steelo property unless the written agreement explicitly transfers them.
The client represents that it has the rights required for materials supplied to Steelo and is responsible for accurate business information, approvals, and lawful use. Steelo will not identify a client, publish a quote, or use project work as public proof without written permission. Permission may be withdrawn for future public use by written notice; withdrawal does not automatically require removal of an item already published unless the written permission or another agreement says so.
Third-party platforms
Work may depend on hosting, email, social, analytics, payment, storage, calendar, AI, or other providers. Steelo is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, price changes, or limitations caused by a third-party platform. Provider costs, account ownership, credentials, data use, and renewal responsibility are assigned in the written scope.
Stripe processes payment for the Founding Website checkout and its hosting subscription. Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted surfaces and are not stored by Steelo. Subscription billing, payment methods, and cancellation are managed through the Stripe customer billing portal. Any other paid engagement is agreed in writing, with its scope and fees, before payment is collected.
Acceptance, defect support, and maintenance
Acceptance is measured against the approved written scope and agreed behavior. The current defect-support window is 7 calendar days after delivery for reproducible defects that fall inside that boundary.
Defect support does not include new features, new content, redesigns, preference changes, client-supplied errors, missing intake, third-party outages, provider policy changes, or behavior outside the approved scope. Hosting, monitoring, backups, content changes, maintenance, security operations, and future features are separate responsibilities unless the written agreement says otherwise.
Cancellation and refunds
- Before payment: A request may be withdrawn without charge. No engagement, inventory reservation, or refund obligation exists before payment.
- After payment but before production begins: The client may cancel in writing. Steelo refunds the unearned portion of the payment, less non-refundable third-party costs already incurred, documented work already completed, and approved planning or setup work already performed. When no work has been performed and no non-refundable third-party cost has been incurred, the payment is refunded in full.
- After production begins: Fees paid for work already performed are non-refundable. Steelo may deliver the work completed to date where practical. Any unused client-funded third-party amount that can be recovered is returned. New work, a new direction, or work outside the approved scope is not included in the cancellation calculation.
- Steelo cancellation or inability to perform: When Steelo cancels the engagement or cannot perform the remaining approved work, Steelo refunds the unearned portion of the payment.
- Client delay and project closure: The existing 7-day pause/reschedule and 30-day closure rules remain. A client-delay pause is not automatically treated as a cancellation or refund event. When a Founding Website project is closed before a site is delivered, its hosting subscription is cancelled and hosting payments are refunded, as described under Founding Website.
- Hosting subscription: The Founding Website hosting subscription is cancelled through the Stripe customer billing portal at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; the site stays online through the paid period and a short grace period, then goes offline. The domain is held to its registration expiry and transferred on request.
A signed project agreement may define more specific cancellation, credit, third-party-cost, milestone, or refund terms. The signed agreement controls when it differs from this general website Terms policy. A request does not reserve capacity, a scheduled week, inventory, or a founding place.
Warranties, outcomes, and liability
The website is provided as-is. Steelo does not guarantee uptime, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, search rankings, lead volume, conversion rates, revenue, or another business outcome. Steelo commits to professional execution against the accepted written scope.
Steelo is not responsible for delays or failures caused by missing client inputs, inaccurate information, third-party systems, provider changes, or events outside reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, Steelo's liability for a claim arising from the website or relevant service is limited to the amount paid for that relevant service, if any.
